Of course I also put another 4 gb of ram so it runs a lot better now. But it is great for taking notes in the field and typing up papers or reports back in the office. The handwriting recognition is a great feature. You should know that 64-bit systems, while allowing you to have more ram, also lose some features. The thing I miss most is the ability to print to OneNote: it is not available in 64-bit systems and Microsoft is not doing squat about it.
